Rebecca Perez, Staff Writer
Rebecca is a senior at Glendale High. She is the 2025 drum major of the GHS marching band, serves as the president and lead alto saxophone of the GHS jazz band, and plays the alto sax in both the Glendale Youth Symphony and LA Youth Jazz Coalition. This is her fourth and final year as a staff writer for Explosion. Some of her hobbies include listening to music, reading, and going out to eat with friends. She is immensely passionate about her interests and continues her personal feud against Dictionary.com. (All hail Merriam-Webster!) She is always happy to stop by for a conversation or to geek-out with others about practically anything!
