Shake Shack

Is this restaurant overrated?
Shake Shack

Another day, another review.

This time it’s not a fast food restaurant. Which means better food. And this restaurant goes by the name of Shake Shack

Pushing their fame is the quality of the burgers, the perfect french fries, and obviously, the shakes. Hence they’re part of the name of the restaurant.

Due to the quality and the option to casually dine in the restaurant, Shake Shack can be considered a fast casual restaurant. Their burgers can even be considered the best fast food burger available, even though they are actually fast casual. But, I will be reviewing their burgers and explaining why Shake Shack is not overrated.

We’re going to start off with the burger. I ordered a Double ShackBurger with bacon. And I’m going to get straight to the point: this burger is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.

The buns are some of the softest buns you can find on a burger. The lettuce and tomato are fresh, but not overpowering. And that patty. The meat itself is juicy, flavorful, and filling.

The burger size is decently big. If the burger was only a little bigger, it would have the potential to be one of the top-three burger places in America.

And the ShackBurger is decently priced at eight dollars, which is pretty pricey for a burger. But trust me: it’s worth every dollar.

Next are the fries. You can’t order a burger without a side of french fries. But Shake Shack’s fries are much different from other burger restaurants.

These french fries are crinkle-cut and are some of the bigger french fries offered by these restaurants.

But the flavor is really good. It doesn’t taste processed but like a real potato.  They’re just plain, seasoned fries with salt, but they’re still great.

But the only negative about their fries is that the portion size is too small. I don’t know if I was just very hungry, but the portion sizing for the fries was underwhelming. But the fries are just three dollars, so it is understandable.

I finished my Shack meal with a vanilla milkshake, because this flavor is the best way to judge whether you have a good milkshake or not. I got mine with whipped cream, and I am impressed with the fact that it does not taste like your corner grocery store’s whipped cream.

But as for the milkshake itself, I have one word to describe it: delightful. Usually milkshakes are too sweet, and you can get sick of them when you are halfway done. But this milkshake is pretty much perfect when it comes to sweetness.

The milkshake is creamy and soft, and the serving size is relatively good for just five dollars. So the milkshake at Shake Shack is worth a try, if you have not had it yet.

Well, based on these menu items at Shake Shack, I can confirm that Shake Shack is not overrated at all. From the crinkle fries, to the meaty burger, to the creamy milkshake, I enjoyed every second of eating my Shack meal.

Also, you get a solid price point for every item that you order, so your wallet won’t hurt after you have eaten your Shack meal. There are even more items that caught my attention to try out, but that will have to be another review for another day.

But crinkle cut this review: Shake Shack is definitely not overrated.
