Glendale High School held its first ever Decision Day event on the afternoon of May 13, 2022.
Organized by USC college advisor Isaiah Lee, Decision Day 2022 was an hour of celebration and recognition for all of our seniors who are taking the next step and continuing their education after high school. There were drinks and snacks, games, and a raffle, whose prizes were purchased and donated through the Donors Choose website.
“I want this event to be part of the foundation that fosters a robust college-going culture here at GHS,” Mr. Lee said.
GUSD school board member, and GHS PTSA representative, Dr. Armina Gharpetian, also came to offer her support and congratulations to our graduating seniors. “Regardless of which college and career pathway they have chosen,” she said, “we are extremely proud of them for making a smart decision to continue their education beyond high school.”
Thank you to Mr. Lee, and to the GHS parents, administrators, counselors and students, who helped to make this event possible! We hope to do this again next year!
