Erynn Padillo is a very busy senior at Glendale High School. She plays the piano, loves fashion, is captain of the girls varsity golf team, works a part-time job and volunteers weekly at her local church. She is a Finalist for the 2025 Pat Navolanic Memorial Award, and she is the president of the GHS California Scholarship Federation (CSF). Clearly having a full schedule, Erynn still finds a way to balance her social and school life.
CSF at GHS meets four to five times each semester. At their meetings, members talk about how to apply for scholarships, fill out applications, and keep track of deadlines. Erynn loves the club’s mission and is excited to help her peers. She knows that applying for scholarships can be very stressful, and she wants to make it easier for other seniors to do so.
As president, Erynn manages the club and helps students feel more prepared for college. CSF is also planning a fundraiser to support its activities, and there is a scholarship distribution event coming up soon to offer scholarship opportunities to students in need.
Erynn is passionate about helping others and being a leader. She believes that senior year can be stressful, especially when it comes to planning for college, so she wants to make the process easier for her classmates.
To join CSF, students need to meet certain credit requirements, which makes the group special for dedicated students. Erynn’s hard work, in both her academics and extracurricular activities, shows just how much she cares about helping her peers.
As president, Erynn is ready to guide the club and help seniors succeed in their scholarship applications. With her leadership, CSF members are sure to have a successful transition into college.
Erynn’s dedication to CSF shows just how much she cares about helping others. She is excited to use her position as president to make a real difference in the lives of her fellow seniors. By offering support and guidance, she hopes to help with the stress of applying for scholarships and help students feel more confident about their future. She hopes that CSF will continue to grow on our campus and make an impact on the lives of Nitro students.
