Alina Bezjian is a sophomore at Glendale High School, and she is the president of Care and Share Club, with a love for creativity and adventure. She enjoys reading, painting, and practicing martial arts, as well as doing her nails. Alina loves traveling and spending quality time with her friends and family, always seeking new experiences and connections.
Caroline Tekelian, also a sophomore, is passionate about baking, hosting parties, and taking her dogs on walks. She is the vice president of the Care and Share Club, showing her dedication to helping others. Caroline also loves going to concerts and spending time with her friends, and she always brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Alina and Caroline recently founded the Care and Share Club, because they wanted to lead a student organization that is dedicated to supporting low-income families in the community. As president and vice president, Alina and Caroline are
committed to making a positive impact through their efforts in organizing fundraisers and assembling care packages filled with essential items, like food, toiletries, and school supplies.
Alina and Caroline started their club this year because of their love for helping others. While brainstorming club ideas, they realized that if they have the ability to help others, they should take advantage of it. There are many less fortunate individuals who don’t have the same opportunities they have had, and they feel a responsibility to make a positive impact in their lives.
Since founding the Care and Share Club, Alina and Caroline have worked tirelessly to engage the GHS community in their mission. They have been getting ready for the second Club Rush, which will be held in the GHS quad today. Meanwhile, they have also been organizing multiple fundraising events, such as bake sales and donation drives, to gather much-needed supplies. Their passion for helping others has resonated with many students and staff, leading to an outpouring of support.
Additionally, Alina and Caroline are attempting to partner with local organizations to ensure that the care packages they assemble reach families in need. Their dedication and leadership will not only provide essential resources to those less fortunate, but their efforts will also foster a spirit of kindness and community at GHS.
This is the first year for the Care and Share Club and we are all eager to see what Alina and Caroline bring to our campus. With their amazing leadership and pure desire to help others, they will make great club leaders. If you are interested in joining, please contact their advisor, Mrs. Donohue, at [email protected].
